SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions
Program Name: Tutor Extraordinaire Appointment & Billing Reminders
Effective Date: February 23, 2026
These SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) apply to the Tutor Extraordinaire LLC (“Tutor Extraordinaire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) text messaging program identified above (the “Program”). By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1) Program Description
The Program sends informational and transactional text messages related to tutoring services, including:
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Schedule changes and cancellations
- Payment reminders and invoice notifications
No Marketing: We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this Program.
2) Who May Enroll and Receive Messages
The Program may send messages to:
- Parents/guardians who opt in using their own mobile number
- Adult students who opt in using their own mobile number
- Minors age 13+ only when a parent/guardian provides the minor’s mobile number and opts in on the minor’s behalf
If you provide a mobile number for a minor, you represent that you are the parent/guardian (or otherwise legally authorized) and have authority to enroll that number in this Program. Tutor Extraordinaire does not knowingly enroll minors under age 13 in the Program.
3) How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive Program messages by:
- Checking the SMS consent box on our website intake form, and/or
- Submitting a request to opt in by text keyword (for example, “START”), where made available
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing tutoring services.
4) Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your appointments and billing activity. You can expect up to 20 messages per month.
5) Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are billed and payable to your mobile service provider according to your mobile service plan.
6) Supported Carriers and Delivery
Texts are sent using a messaging platform and may be delivered through a Twilio Messaging Service. Delivery is subject to your mobile carrier’s network availability and is not guaranteed. Tutor Extraordinaire is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7) Opting Out
You may opt out of the Program at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and you will no longer receive Program messages to that number unless you re-enroll.
Opt-out requests apply to the specific phone number that sends the opt-out request.

10) Changes to These SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Any updates will be posted on our website, and the effective date will be revised above. Your continued participation in the Program after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
